This March 11 and 12, the 2nd edition of the Waterfront Indie Film Festival (WIFF) MumbaI 2026 is hosting a curated series of intimate gatherings featuring six carefully designed panels across two days. These conversations will continue through the year, building momentum toward the larger October edition of WIFF Mumbai from 1st to 5th October 2026, where filmmakers, authors, publishers, screenwriters, critics and audiences will come together in celebration of storytelling across mediums.
Emerging from the heart of Mumbai’s creative ecosystem, the festival reflects the city’s enduring relationship with stories. It seeks to create a space where ideas meet imagination, and where readers, writers, filmmakers and audiences gather to celebrate the written word that so often becomes the cinema we remember.
