Angaraag Mahanta, - the world knows him as Papon, a voice that flows like a river: smooth, soulful, and timeless. A singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, record producer, and a magnetic live performer, Papon blends tradition with innovation, weaving folk, ghazals, and classical sounds into a contemporary global language of music. Bollywood embraced him through unforgettable melodies like Moh Moh Ke Dhage (Dum Laga Ke Haisha), Kyon(Barfi), Jiyein Kyun (Dum Maro Dum), Humnava (Hamari Adhuri Kahani), and Labon Ka Karobar (Befikre). His voice has also graced films like Sanju, Raid, Karwaan, and Sui Dhaaga etc. Recently, he sang and acted in Metro In Dino. A pioneer of India’s non-film music movement, Papon has been a constant presence in all four seasons of Coke Studio India. He has also produced two full episodes of MTV Unplugged.
