Kasa Kai Mumbai brings to you a Pen Fight Tournament happening at Doolally in Khar!

Fight against other competitors to keep your pen on the table, while knocking off theirs.

Winner takes home the title of our inaugural competition.

Here are the rules:

Register at the desk with 1-3 pens of your choice.

These pens will be checked for modifications, added weight, added grip or anything else that gives your pens an unfair advantage.

Pens allowed: gel pen, ball pen & fountain pen.

You cannot use markers, pencils, mechanical pencils or oversized sketch pens.

Once everyone is checked in, you’ll be randomly drawn in a group of 5.

This group will be called to the table & the game order will be provided.

Participants must place their pen on the table where they like depending on the reverse order.

Participants will start the pen fight round according to the game order.

Use your thumb and a finger of your choice to flick your pen to knock out that of another participant.

You get one flick per turn.

Scoring:

1st place - 5 points

2nd place - 3 points

3rd place - 1 point

4th & 5th - 0 points

There will be 3 rounds per group.

The top two from each group after 3 rounds will move ahead.

This will go ahead until we have 5 or less players remaining for the final round.

Finals:

The final round will consist of 5 rounds instead of three, to decide the winner.

The winner will be crowned our inaugural pen fight champion!

Additional:

You can choose and switch one pen per round, simply inform the judge before the round begins.

You cannot touch or move an opponent’s pen.

You cannot touch the table while it isn’t your turn; maintain a distance of 3 feet when it’s not your turn in progress.

When it’s your turn, approach the table and place your wrist on the table where your pen is. Then flick to play.

Obstacles for the table may be added in certain matches to make things interesting.
