SJxMAD, a Delhi-based duo made up of Sumir and Vidhi Madan. They build around groove-heavy records, late-night energy and music made to connect in a packed room.

Sumir brings over a decade of experience in music production and DJing. He spent several years living in the UK, where his music received support from BBC Introducing and where he performed across different venues before returning to India.

Vidhi brings her background in vocals, songwriting and production. She spent around four years living in California, where she was

exposed to a different creative environment that continues to influence her approach to music and songwriting.

Their individual experiences across Delhi, the UK and California come together in the music they make. Sumir’s production and club-focused instincts combine with Vidhi’s vocal ideas, melodies and songwriting to create records that feel direct, personal and designed for movement.

As SJxMAD, they have opened for international artists including Daytona and Emanuele Esposito, while also performing at multiple sold-out club shows across Delhi. Playing regularly in front of live audiences has become a central part of how we develop our sound and understand what genuinely connects on the dance floor.
