This April, ARTISANS' proudly hosts visual artist Sameer Kulavoor’s first solo exhibition, Please Have a Seat. Kulavoor blends contemporary illustration, design and art and is known for his distinct style and meaningful explorations of urban life and culture.

In his new work, Kulavoor offers us something more personal. He encourages viewers to slow down and experience the forgotten magic of everyday life. Please Have a Seat subtly questions the paradigms of modern lifestyle that increasingly hint and succumb to the notion of 'doing more' to 'be more'.

Kulavoor's latest work amplifies everyday moments by zooming into simple yet emotive lines and forms. With this exhibition, Kulavoor engages with the world around him, transforming the nondescript and ordinary into the extraordinary.
