Rakhtabha is an evocative solo Kathak-based theatrical production that explores the powerful duality of the colour red—as a symbol of a woman’s radiance, fertility, and love, while also embodying her resistance, rage, and divine strength.

The performance delves deeply into feminine energy across time, invoking the sacred, the sensual, and the Shakti through a blend of traditional Kathak vocabulary, literary influences, and contemporary expression.

Premiered in Delhi and later presented in Bangalore, Mumbai, Paris, and London, Rakhtabha has received immense appreciation for its visual richness, musical intricacy, and spiritual depth.
