The Muddy Marmalade was born from a deep-rooted desire to revive the raw and gritty sounds that defined the golden age of rock and blues. Inspired by legends like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and B.B. King, we infuse their essence into our music, creating a unique sonic experience that carries the weight of our collective emotions.

Together, we strive to capture the spirit of an era long gone, breathing new life into it with every strum, beat, and lyric. Our music is an expression of our shared joys, struggles, and triumphs – a testament to the unbreakable bond we share as a band and as a family.

Back in the early 70s, Jimmy Page, Freddie Mercury, John Densmore, David Gilmour and Roger Glover met somewhere in Switzerland – most probably Montreux.

They discussed a lot about their particular visions for their music and shared ideas while sipping French wine at a quaint bar. When they left, the waiter mixed the leftover wine and poured that into the roots of an orange tree out back. In 2022, a psycho from the Safdarjung area of New Delhi imported oranges from Montreux (yes, from the same tree) and made a marmalade. That’s the story of the Muddy Marmalade, and we’re just five ordinary men who ate a piece of that marmalade before hitting the stage!
