Formed in Delhi in 2013, Distill began when guitarist Sriram and bassist Abhijit reunited with drummer Neeraj and later vocalist Varun. Early songs like This War and Heat set the tone for their sound. After Neeraj’s exit, drummer Prijo brought new complexity and direction. Over the years, the band’s music has evolved from raw riffs into a more refined blend of heavy grooves, ambient textures, funky basslines, and emotive vocals — the true “distillation” of their diverse influences into a unique and powerful identity.
