Sandhan Valley: The Valley of Shadow.

Sandhan Valley is situated in the western ghats of Sahyadris. The valley is located on the west side of beautiful Bhandardhara region near Samrad village. The village itself is located approx. at 3000 fts above sea level. Valley is surrounded by Alang, Madan, Kulang, Kalsubai, Ratangad and Ajoba mountain range. Hiking through Sandhan Valley gives you the best of light and shadow experience while walking into it.

It is a Photographers Delight where you get to see one of the biggest valley of Asia.

Itinerary

From Pune :-

Day 1 :- 

Saturday :-Reporting at JW Masrriot SB Road at 9 pm

Start to Pune by Private bus sharp 9;00 pm

Report at Nashik Phata At 09:30 pm

Second pickup point Nashik Phata at 9:45 pm

Reach Samrad village at 03:30 am and take rest till morning.

Reach Base Village,Enjoy overnight travel with group fun activities and Bonfire.

Day 2 Sunday :-

4 :00 am to 7:00 : Rest in bus because Samrad village gate is not open till morning 5:30 am.

07:00 AM: Reach base village have freshen up.

07:30 AM : Have a heavy breakfast.

08:00 AM: Start our trek to the Sandhan Valley.

09:30 AM: Reach At Rapelling Spot.

10:30 AM: Enjoy Rappelling Activity, Explore the valley till the end.

02:00 Pm: Start walking back to the base village via the same route

2:30 PM: Reach Base Village

03:00 PM: Have Lunch

04:00 PM: Depart for Pune

010:00 PM: Reach Pune (Arrival Time Depends on Pace of Group and Traffic)

10:30PM : Everyone will reach their respective homes, that too with beautiful lot of memories.

Things to carry:

ID proof

2/3 Liters of water

Some Dry fruits / Dry Snacks / Energy Bars

Glucon D / ORS / Tang / Gatorade sachets

Good Torch must with an extra battery

Trekking Shoes provide more grip and comfort on the trek

One Day Backpack 20 to 30 liters

Sun Cap and Sunscreen

Personal First aid and Personal Medicine

Please wear Full sleeves and Full Track Pant this will protect from Summer Sun / Thorns / Insects / Prickles

Rains are expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet

Double pack your valuables/phones in plastic bags

Rainwear / Poncho / Waterproof jacket etc. if you don’t want to get wet.
