Sapta, conceived by Marti Bharath is an Indian electronic music act based out of Chennai. Sapta’s live act consists of Marti Bharath (Synths & Keyboard), Shravan Sridhar (Violin), Mridula Sekhar (Vocals), Maalavika Manoj (Synths & Vocals) and Tapass Naresh (Drums) who is also a member of punk rock act - Skrat. Sapta’s sound features a mix of Indian instruments, synthesizers, thumping live drums, infectious rhythms and catchy vocal melodies and draws influence form Marti’s experiences of living and performing in San Francisco, Paris, Dubai and India.
