I used to visit this place multiple times during our school picnics so I thought of going again to relive some old memories… Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing this time. We didn't opt for the food package because we learned there was a restaurant inside and I must say the food was excellent a solid 10/10 for that. However the pool timing starts from 10 AM, but the staff were still cleaning the main pools until 1pm. These should ideally be completed before we arrive. The artificial waterfall was also not operating throughout our visit and I'm not sure why. The pools were not clean however the wave pool was a bit fun. Another issue was the long distance between the pools with no proper flooring or shaded pathways. The ground became extremely hot under the sun, and we literally burned our feet while walking. It would be great if management could improve this by adding shaded areas or heat resistant flooring. Overall, the food was excellent, but the maintenance and visitor experience need improvement Also, they don’t have much amusement park. The package includes amusement park but dashing car was chargeable!!Read More

Shangrila Resort and Waterpark is located on the Mumbai–Nashik Highway in Bhiwandi. It’s a decent and family-friendly water park with a good variety of rides. The wave pool is enjoyable, though the rain dance area could use better maintenance, as the water flow isn’t very uniform. Overall, the water quality appears acceptable but definitely needs better upkeep. Food quality is good, with vegetarian options available. The dining area is spacious, but weekends can get quite crowded, making it difficult to find seating. Ticket prices are reasonable—around ₹1100 for adults and ₹1000 for kids, including food. There are no additional charges for rides, which is a big plus. The ticket counter staff and locker room staff are very helpful. Lockers are available on a cash-only basis, and the staff assist well with the process and even share useful tips. The gents locker area has CCTV, which adds a sense of security. However, the men’s toilet and shower areas need better maintenance. Cleanliness in some ride areas also needs improvement—issues like pan/gutkha stains and cigarette use should be strictly controlled at the entry level to maintain hygiene. Overall, considering the pricing, it’s a good option near the Thane area for a fun day out. With improved cleanliness and maintenance, this place could become much better.Read More

We had a great time at the water park and thoroughly enjoyed the rides and overall atmosphere. The lunch and breakfast provided was very delicious and one of the highlights of our visit. However, we felt that the water contained a high amount of chemicals, which caused some discomfort. We were also concerned about the lack of safety measures and supervision in certain areas. Improving water quality and strengthening safety arrangements would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable outing, but attention to water quality and safety would make the park much better.Read More

We booked the stay for 2 nights 3 days and paid total amount in advance. Service was not that good. Rooms were good but the sheets were not good. The water park didnt maintained water and the water was green. Wave pool was fun and water was maintained. There were no guides at entry of slides. Amusement park was not that great. The private pool allocated to the room stay was nice. The staff cleaned and maintained it well. Breakfast and food were not good. All in all I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.Read More

Well.. I would rate this water park on on lowest side. Everything is unhygienic starting from changing room /washrooms/ water in pools. It felt pretty uncomfortable to use all this facilities due to hygiene issue. Still feeling itching after returning from there. Generally don't like to write big reviews for places but this place deserves a special mention to future users. On top of all this un-hygienic state, multiple places , pool tiles were not aligned which can lead to injuries. All the water slides in small pools have develop a green fungus all across and floating in pool. This slides looked heavily rusted and dangerous w.r.t being slippery and sharp broken Metal edges. And another big worry we found is w.r.t . Wild reptiles ( snakes in particular) entering into main activity areas. We have seen big full grown brown snake in one of the water slides and had to run with small kids toward safer side. In cafeteria hand wash area, drainage pipe were hanging from below made small water pool Below sink. Resort management need to really really focus on hygiene aspect even if they need to increase the cost. It just unusable place as per our experience in it's current form.Read More
