Overview

Shivagange is a popular hill located near Tumkur, Karnataka, known for its historical and spiritual significance. The hill is shaped like a Shiva Lingam, and it is often referred to as the "Gange of the South" due to its resemblance to Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva. The trek offers a perfect blend of adventure, history, and spirituality, making it a must-visit for trekkers and nature lovers.

The hill features rocky terrain, steep paths, and a series of steps leading to the summit. Along the way, you’ll pass various temples, including the Sri Lakshmi Narayana Temple and Lord Shiva Temple, adding a spiritual dimension to your adventure. At the top, you are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

DAY 0:

◆ Start the exciting journey from Bangalore, heading towards the beautiful Shivaganga Hill.

◆ 12:00 AM: Marathahalli- In front of Kalamandir

◆ 12:20 AM: Bellandur -Kanti Sweets

◆ 12:40 AM: Silk Board Bus stop

◆ 01:00 AM: BTM Udupi Garden Bus Stop

◆ 01:20 AM: Banashankari TTMC

◆ 01:40 AM:  RR Nagar Gopalan Arcade Mall 

◆ For a group of 10-11, a 12-passenger Tempo Traveler will be arranged.

◆ For a group of 20, a 22-seat Mini Bus will be designated.

◆ For a group of 30, a 30-passenger bus will be provided.

◆ For a Group of more than 35 People will be provided a 50 seater bus.

◆ The pickup location remains the same; only the timings will vary, and updates will be shared in the WhatsApp group.

DAY 1:

◆ 03:00 AM Reach the base of Shivagange, ready to begin the hike after a quick briefing.

◆ 03:30 AM Begin the trek through rocky paths and steps, making your way up the hill.

◆ 05:30 AM Reach the summit and take in the panoramic views. Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

◆ 06:30 AM Sit back and wait for the spectacular sunrise, filling the sky with beautiful hues.

◆ 07:00 AM Begin the descent back to the base, reflecting on the stunning views and peaceful morning.

◆ 09:00 AM Head to a nearby restaurant to freshen up and enjoy breakfast.

◆ 12:30 PM Reach to Bangalore, filled with memories of an adventurous and peaceful trek at Shivagange.
