Located just 60 km from Bangalore, this mystical hill combines religious significance, scenic beauty, and an adrenaline-filled trekking trail, making it a must-do weekend adventure for nature lovers and spiritual seekers alike!

Shivagange is home to sacred shrines such as Gangadhareshwara Temple, Honnadevi Temple, and Patala Gange, and offers mesmerising views from the summit. As you ascend, you’ll witness rock formations resembling Shiva Linga, Nandi, Cobra, Bull, and Ganesha — a unique experience that captivates trekkers from all walks of life.

11:00 PM – Marathahalli (Near Kalamandir)

11:30 PM – Silk Board (Bus Stop, Opposite Pizza Hut)

11:45 PM – BTM Layout (Udupi Garden Bus Stop, Opposite A2B)

12:15 AM – Banashankari (Bus Stop)

12:30 AM – Gopalan Arcade Mall (Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch)

Return: Saturday/Sunday afternoon ~1:30 PM (Same drop points)

ITINERARY:

11:00 PM – Pickup from Bangalore

03:00 AM – Arrive at Shivagange Base

03:30 AM – Begin the trek to the summit

05:30 AM – Reach the top, rest, and enjoy the surroundings

06:30 AM – Witness a magical sunrise view

07:00 AM – Descend back to base

09:00 AM – Freshen up and have a self-sponsored breakfast at a nearby restaurant

12:30 PM – Arrive back in Bangalore
