Best Bowling + Gaming Experience in Hyderabad! Perfect for Friends & Family Outings but expensive. Visited Shott Bowling Alley at Sattva Orwell Block, Knowledge City last weekend and had an absolute blast! If you’re looking for a premium bowling + gaming zone in Hyderabad, this is 100% worth your time and money. BOWLING EXPERIENCE The bowling lanes are top-notch. 8 professional lanes with automatic scoring, bumpers for kids, and soft-touch ball return system. We booked 2 lanes for 1 hour and the staff helped us set up everything instantly. Even for first-timers, the staff explains stance, grip, and technique patiently. We played 3 games each and trust me, it gets addictive! The lane maintenance is excellent - no oil patches, perfect pin setup every time. Friday night bowling with neon lights + music makes the vibe next level. GAMING ZONE / ARCADE The arcade section is huge and modern. 50+ games from classic air hockey, basketball arcade, racing simulators, VR games, to claw machines. My personal fav was the racing simulator and VR zombie game - super immersive graphics. Token system is smooth, you get a reloadable card so no coin hassle. Kids and adults both will enjoy. We spent 2 hours just hopping between games. Staff keeps machines clean and working, which is rare in Hyderabad gaming zones. FOOD & BEVERAGES Didn’t expect great food at a bowling alley, but Shott surprised us! We tried: 1. Loaded Nachos with Cheese - Crispy, generous cheese, perfect for sharing during bowling 2. Peri Peri Chicken Wings - Juicy, spicy, best combo with cold drinks 3. Margherita Pizza- Thin crust, wood-fired taste 4. Cold Coffee Frappe - Thick and refreshing after all that gaming Prices are fair for the location + ambience. Quick service even when the place was full on Saturday evening. They also have mocktails, sizzlers, and quick bites for people who want light snacks while playing. AMBIENCE & STAFF The whole Sattva Orwell Block location feels premium. High ceilings, LED lighting, neon bowling lanes, comfortable seating behind lanes for groups. AC is perfect. Staff is super professional - from lane allocation to food service, everything is smooth. They also help with group bookings, birthdays, and corporate events. VERDICT If you want to plan a weekend outing, date, or group hangout in Hyderabad, Shott at Knowledge City is my top recommendation. Bowling + arcade + good food under one roof. Rates are reasonable compared to other premium lanes in the city. Already planning to book for my friend’s birthday next month! Pro tip- Book lanes online or call ahead on weekends. Appalling Experience: Absolute Lack of Child Safety and Accountability We visited SHOTT at Knowledge City on July 3rd to attend a close friend's son's birthday party. What was supposed to be a celebratory evening turned into an absolute nightmare due to the shocking behavior of the staff and a complete lack of accountability from the management. My four-year-old son was playing hide-and-seek behind the Monopoly dice arcade game. Like any typical toddler, he was having fun, coming out and then hiding behind it again. My husband and I were standing right next to the machine the entire time. To our utter shock and horror, my son suddenly came out crying hysterically, saying, "Mamma, uncle pinched me." It turns out that one of the employees, whose name sounded like Bhuvnesh (difficult to hear clearly due to the loud background music), had physically pinched my four-year-old child in an attempt to get him out from behind the machine. When I immediately confronted the employee, he completely denied it while giggling and smirking right to my face, showing zero remorse or professionalism. To make matters worse, the management’s response was entirely dismissive. I reached out to the manager, Mr. Praveen, who offered empty apologies but was completely unhelpful. He brushed off the severity of the situation by stating that because it was a Friday evening, the HR department would not be available until Monday. His only solution was that they might issue a "warning letter" by Monday evening. I cannot wrap my head around this casual approach. An employee physically assaults a toddler, laughs about it when confronted, and the establishment's grand solution is to wait three days just to issue a warning letter? This is a massive safety hazard for families. If an establishment that caters heavily to children cannot guarantee their physical safety from its own staff, it should not be open. The lack of immediate, stringent action against an employee who pinches little children is unacceptable. Their staff lacks basic human decency, and their management lacks the spine to take immediate action to protect young guests. Zero stars. Absolutely unacceptable.Read More

Had a really fun time at Shott Hyderabad. Bowling was the highlight, for us there was no waiting time at all, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Definitely the best part of the visit. Tried laser tag as well, which was okayish. The arena felt a bit small and there was some waiting involved, so it’s more suited for kids than adults looking for a full-on experience. One thing to note, the bowling price is quite on the expensive side (around ₹1000 on weekdays vs ₹650 on weekends), which feels a bit odd. I’d recommend pre-booking through District and using credit card offers to get better value. Overall, it’s a fun place to hang out and spend time with friends. Good one, especially for young age kids and friends group this is a place to have fun. Even though it's bit expensive the staff is super friendly and they are always available to recommend and help you whatever you need.
