A photography walk exploring observation, visual storytelling, and the historic surroundings of Qutub Minar.

As part of KNMA’s celebration of the International Week of Deaf People, photographer Srivatsan leads a morning photography walk through the historic surroundings of Qutub Minar. Participants observe architecture, people, details, light, and everyday moments, exploring how photographs can capture stories and different ways of seeing.

In collaboration with Sony, the walk offers hands-on experience with Sony cameras, supported by practical demonstrations and guidance on translating creative ideas into images. Participants also receive one-on-one feedback in Indian Sign Language (ISL) as they develop their photographic practice.

Following the walk, an image review and discussion at KNMA invites participants to reflect on their photographs and consider connections between photography, memory, identity, and storytelling.
