About the Event
Lose yourself in the mighty universe and marvel at its mighty wonder. Mumbai Travellers in association with Beyond Earth is giving you a chance to gaze at stars at Velas Beach. The sound of crashing waves, sand in your toes and stars in your eyes. Life couldn’t get better.
Star gazing is an activity carried out in the presence of experts observing stars, planets and other objects in universe with the help of telescope.
Gallery
Day 1:
- Early morning depart from Dadar to the Village of Turtles-Velas
- En-route halt for local breakfast on Mumbai-Goa Highway. Enjoy the journey to the beautiful eco-village by afternoon (01:00 pm). Freshen-Up. Have introduction and briefing session. Enjoy mouthwatering lunch and explore the local culture and village. Enjoy the sunset at Velas Beach.
- After Sunset, start with Stargazing information session by expert Mr.Vikram Virulkar on basics of various constellations, stars and planets. Have dinner and enjoy Stargazing session with various Nebulae, deep sky objects etc. You have option of exploring more and more stars till late night / early morning. Lights off for the day !
Day 2:
- Wake up to the chirping birds. Post breakfast, we will proceed to Harihareshwar beach and Temple by Jetty.
- Enjoy lunch and further proceed back to Mumbai. Reach Mumbai by late evening.
