Workshop Description

There’s a quiet kind of magic in painting the night sky — the soft moonlight, the twinkling stars, and the calm it brings. 

In this peaceful, step-by-step painting workshop, kids will create their own glowing night sky filled with stars and dreamy silhouettes. Guided by our facilitators, they’ll learn how to blend colours smoothly, layer soft tones, and use brushstrokes to create depth and light.

Through gentle guidance, children will also explore colour theory — discovering how shades of blue, green, and black come together to create a mesmerising night effect. Along the way, they’ll learn about silhouettes — what they are, how they form, and how light and shadow play a role in bringing them to life.

Each brushstroke will help them slow down, focus, and find joy in the creative process. By the end, every child will take home their own serene night sky — a painting that captures both peace and imagination. 

Session Plan

1. Introduction & Inspiration (15 mins)

We’ll begin by observing the beauty of the night sky — how stars twinkle, the moon glows, and shadows form. Kids will see reference artworks and discuss how colours express calmness, emotion, and balance.

2. Guided Painting Session (90 mins)

Step by step, kids will paint their very own night sky! They’ll learn to layer, blend, and balance tones, add glowing stars, and create striking silhouettes. Along the way, they’ll explore different brushes, strokes, and colour blending techniques, learning how to make their artwork come alive.

3. Reflection Circle & Group Photo (15 mins)

We’ll close the session with a calm reflection — appreciating each artwork and what it expresses. Kids will share what they loved creating most, followed by a happy group photo under their painted stars!

Important Instructions

1. Parents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session. Limited waiting area outside the studio; no waiting allowed inside EuroKids classrooms.

2. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably.

3. Bring a water bottle and dress your child in comfortable, paint-friendly clothes.

4. Kindly ensure your child eats before class; we’ll be busy painting!

5. We’re located on the 2nd floor inside the EuroKids Preschool premises. If you have trouble locating us, just ask the EuroKids staff or call our team—we’ll be happy to guide you.
