Strangr Selectors x Deep Diggers

This Friday night, The Barsati welcomes New York-based DJ and archivist Arjun Shah for the next edition of Sindhi Curry’s ‘Deep Diggers’.

A resident of Disco Tehran and the founder of the Groove Obscura listening series and Office Hours parties in New York, Arjun’s sets explore dance music from around the world, particularly from the 1970s and 1980s. His selections move from Antillean zouk and Guadeloupean gwo ka to West African disco and Peruvian cumbia.
