Every week, we meet for a free-flow reading session where the only interruptions are those that you allow. Stubborn reads is a place to attempt to read difficult books, but it is also a support group/group of people who are also similarily locked in. Come every week to build a deep-reading habit, or come every now and then to keep the spark of the written word alive. The principle of Stubborn Reads is to read widely and read deeply. Pick your own reads, or choose from our selection that week. Post the reading, we will discuss how we have progressed that week, and how to tackle challenging sections, and share reflections & learnings with the group. Through this, we hope to grow as readers and find a community of like-minded readers who venture beyond the norm.

Who is Sahana Srikanth?

Sahana Srikanth is a multidisciplinary practitioner working at the intersection of arts, community, and cities. She is the founder of Bengaluru Bus Reads, a reading community that reimagines public transport as a shared cultural space. Sahana has worked across exhibitions, festivals, and museum programmes, collaborating with artists and organisations in making art accesible. She runs a blog called 'Art and the City' and writes for the The Artist Society podcast.
