The Sultani Brothers are contemporary Indian classical and semi-classical vocalists. They are the sons and disciples of the legendary vocalist, Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, and carry forward the musical lineage of the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana. The brothers, Murtuza Mustafa, Qadir Mustafa, Rabbani Mustafa, and Hasan Mustafa, are known for their powerful and soulful singing style, which blends traditional classical training with a modern sensibility. While deeply rooted in the khayal gayaki (singing style) of their gharana, they are also adept at performing lighter forms like ghazals, bhajans, and Sufi music. They gained wider recognition after a notable performance on MTV Coke Studio alongside their father, showcasing their rich musical heritage to a broader audience.
