If you haven’t done a proper Sunday brunch in Bangalore yet, you should. It’s almost part of the city experience.

Brunch here usually means a long, slightly boozy afternoon — unlimited drinks, a big spread of food, and nowhere to be from around 12 PM to 4 PM Most of the top hotels do one every Sunday, along with a handful of good standalone restaurants and bars. Some have live music, some have DJs, and the better ones slowly turn into an afternoon party.

KICO is launching its Sunday Brunch this week and this one looks worth trying.

There’s a generous food spread, a proper cocktail menu, plus beer, wine and premium spirits.

My suggestion: go with a few friends and get there by 1 PM. Reserve in advance if you want a good table. If you’re happy just walking in and finding your way around, that works too.

And this isn’t a sleepy brunch.
