Born out of monthly living-room gatherings across Delhi, Synth Hang is an evolving community of musicians and enthusiasts brought together by their shared love for synthesisers. These sessions - equal parts jam, exchange, and hang - began in July 2024 and have since grown into a regular happening city-wide.

At Oddbird, Synth Hang presents Surge - a new kind of evening shaped by sound, space, and shared curiosity. The event unfolds across two spaces. From 5:30 to 7:30 PM, audiences are invited to explore interactive installations and listening stations set up on the mezzanine - designed for tinkering, improvising, and getting hands-on with synthesis. Then, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM, the black box hosts a two-hour live performance.

Featuring Moss, Mandakini Cables, Songs for a Tired City, and Bloop, the acts appear and reappear - blending ambient swells, modular textures, field recordings, rhythmic experiments, and unexpected sonic chaos - a sound steeped in Delhi’s experimental spirit.
