

Tanvi Shah - Grammy-Winning Indian Singer & Songwriter
Based in Chennai, Tanvi Shah made history as the first Indian woman to win a Grammy Award. She received the 2010 Grammy for "Best Song Written for Visual Media" by contributing the Spanish lyrics and vocals to the mega-hit "Jai Ho" from the film Slumdog Millionaire (alongside A.R. Rahman and Gulzar).
Her expressive vocals are featured in hit Indian tracks like Fanaa (from Yuva) and songs from Delhi-6. She has also collaborated with international artists like Snoop Dogg.
A multi-lingual talent, she frequently sings in Spanish, Portuguese, Afro-Cuban, and Arabic, in addition to Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Outside of music, she is an active jewelry designer and an advocate for global health initiatives, having spoken at TEDx events.
