Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents The Art of Kintsugi, a hands-on workshop introducing participants to the Japanese philosophy and practice of repairing broken ceramics with gold.

Rather than concealing imperfections, Kintsugi celebrates them, transforming broken objects into symbols of resilience, renewal, and beauty. Participants will repair a ceramic plate using adhesive and gold dust while exploring the cultural significance and philosophy behind this centuries-old art form. The session also includes a guided reflection activity inspired by Kintsugi's teachings, with each participant taking home their repaired ceramic plate and an activity sheet.
