Mir Kashif Iqbal is a guitarist/composer/singer-songwriter and producer best known for being the

co-founder, lead guitarist and co-songwriter for the Bangalore based independent rock band Parvaaz.

After a decade of touring, recording and writing with Parvaaz, where he shared the stage with the likes of Alt J, Lucky Ali, and most of the prominent acts of the indie music industry, in 2021 Kashif started his solo journey with the release of his Debut Solo Album “Peak Wave Descent” followed up by the Live EP titled "Adaptation" in 2022. New music is now in the works for Kashif as well as being played during his live performances.

Kashif's playing and songwriting is influenced by classic and progressive rock infused with Urdu and Kashmiri lyrics and has often been described by critics as ethereal and transcendental. “On Peak Wave Descent Kashif scales everything from Jazz to Prog and also returns as vocalist” Rolling Stone India.
