Each of the tables at The Gathering, reserved for just twenty guests, draws inspiration from themes of Conservation, Innovation & Exploration. This table brings together Chef Prateek Sadhu and Artist Aradhana Seth to share their take on Exploration through food and art.

A Table in the Mountains - 5 Course Tasting Menu by Prateek Sadhu X Aradhana Seth

A celebration and unique interpretation of mountain living, Chef Prateek Sadhu and Artist Aradhana Seth come together in collaboration for a special Gathering. Chef Sadhu’s style of melding local ingredients, foraging practices, and, diverse culinary cultures of the Mountains; and multi-disciplinary artist Aradhana Seth’s penchant for world building, storytelling through materials of everyday life, will result in a visual directory of painterly and photographic responses to a specially curated meal that epitomises a table in the mountains.

Chef Profile: Prateek Sadhu

You could say that the hills changed his life. He went back to them, to get a bit of quiet away from the world and ended up with what is definitely one of India’s best destination-dining experiences. NAAR, his 16 seater restaurant in Darwa, Kasauli celebrates Himalayan cuisine, the culture and its people. Chef Prateek Sadhu is one of India's finest chefs who was last in the limelight for his noteworthy work at Masque in Mumbai.

Artist Profile: Aradhana Seth 

Having worked on 15 feature films, made 20 documentaries, put up solo exhibitions and even compiled a book, Aradhana seems to have done it all. Filmmaker, production designer, visual artist, producer, she switches hats flawlessly. Primarily inspired by the visual language of the everyday locale, she has worked with notable directors such as Wes Anderson, and Mira Nair with whom she did the adaptation of her brother Vikram Seth’s novel, A Suitable Boy.
