This time we are reading: The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

A woman trapped by walls. Another who sees the world through a man's eyes. A third who discovers the power to change it.

Three stories. Three rebellions. One question — what happens when women refuse to play by the rules?

What's The Reading Room Project?

An intimate evening of dramatised reading, where the stories comes alive through voice, performance and imagination. Once the reading ends, we stay back for a conversation about the play, its ideas and the many ways it resonates with our lives.

Who are we?

A bunch of full-time corporate professionals who refused to give up their love for books and theatre.
