Welcome to Timber Tales!

We’re going to create some magnificent miniature masterpieces out of wood! Well, most of us are. This is an opportunity to try your hand at the age-old craft of whittling. Unlike modern wood carving with power tools and chisels, whittling is about creating delicate shapes and patterns out of wood using just a small knife. While you’re at it, sip on some delicious coffee, listen to some music, and let the art flow through you. This is just the perfect creative hobby.

What Is an EM?

At Vagabond, we don’t do Trip Leaders, Tour Managers, or Trip Captains. Every Vagabond experience is hosted by an Experience Manager (AKA EM). EMs are trained to do one job—help you have a comfortable, safe, and fulfilling experience.

If you’re an introvert and want to join solo, don’t worry. Our EMs will make sure you don’t feel left out. :)
