The walk also offers a rare look inside a fully functioning darkroom, with demonstrations of analog techniques, film loading, enlargers, and traditional printing processes.

I usually feel bored on weekends, so I decided to visit this place alone. I love history, and here I learned about the origin and history of cameras in a simple way. I understood how cameras developed over time and how photos were taken in earlier days compared to now. It turned my boring Sunday into a fun and memorable day. It is one of the most unique cultural spaces in Gurugram. It’s closed on every Monday. Supported by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, this place is much more than just a museum. There’s a beautiful open outdoor library space where you can sit and read, relax, or simply enjoy the calm environment. It gives the whole place a very creative and peaceful vibe. The entrance is well-maintained and organized. Know before you go: – Tickets are reasonably priced (₹200 for Indians and ₹300 for foreigners) – There is proper parking available – Lift is available, making it accessible for elderly and abled people – Clean washrooms and seating areas are available Inside the museum, you’ll find an incredible collection of vintage and rare cameras, tracing the evolution of photography from early box cameras to modern digital systems. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated and informative, it is perfect for photography lovers, students, and even casual visitors. School visits, and local events like photography workshops, book launches are often organised here, with Bollywood celeb attending occasionally. There’s also a small shop with photography-related souvenirs and books. The exhibitions at 1st floor keep changing, which makes it worth revisiting. Second floor is a permanent exhibition of Kulwant Roy’s press archive from 1930-1960s. They also have a café called “Ingri”, so you can grab a coffee and spend more time exploring the space comfortably. The location is surrounded residential area and in the compound are offices from MCG and CID office, making it safe. Overall, it’s a hidden gem in Gurugram, educational, peaceful, and creatively inspiring. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for something different beyond malls and cafes. This was a delightful discovery. I was here for a solemn event. I would have never imagined that a place like this could exist in Gurugram. The place curates event and is a heaven for photography enthusiasts. Met Aditya, the man behind the concept. They have a wonderful cafe and if you are a book lover don’t forget to ask the desk about the book clubs. If you are looking for a corporate event with amazing vibes this is a definite place to check out and evaluate.
