

Join us for the Top Rope Run at the Fitrock Pallikaranai.
Along with the top rope run, we are also conducting a rope skills workshop where you will learn and improve your technical skills in basic climbing knots & belaying.
Top-rope climbing is a beginner-friendly style in which the rope runs from the climber's harness to an anchor at the top of the route and back down to the belayer on the ground.
Top rope climbing is ideal for beginners because:
Adds security of always being "on belay" during the climb
Allows climbers to practice skills with less risk
Builds core strength, endurance and problem-solving skills over time
It gets you climbing right away instead of learning anchor systems
It's time to show your CLIMBING game!
You can note these points before coming in:
Please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session.
You can bring a change of clothes and a hand towel.
Climbing shoes will be provided here, so carry a pair of socks.
Agenda
Warm-ups and instructions on the rule last 15-20 minutes, followed by climbers starting their climbs and noting their points.
In the last 20 minutes, the top 2 winners will be finalised based on the top score, and the rewards will be given away.
