Thanks to the OTT platforms, the audience now has access to films from across the globe, spanning diverse genres and languages, all available at their own time and convenience. World cinema has never been this accessible to the audience. This also opens avenues and discussions for the concept of cinema itself, as a language of telling stories, and a medium of human expression. Many of us pride ourselves to be film-buffs, but our appreciation or discussion of cinema tends to be limited to the story and the performances of actors. We hardly realise that our taste in cinema is limited by our understanding of it. 

Join us as we try to look at and understand cinema as cinema, a unique language, and craft. This is cinema beyond a medium of telling stories, or commercial entertainment, without excluding these most important aspects. National Award-winning Filmmaker and Scriptwriter, Satyanshu Singh, has been teaching cinema for more than eleven years now. In this masterclass, he will train us to look at films as an art form and equip us with the necessary knowledge on how to critically evaluate and appreciate cinema as art.
