My experience at Fun Republic Mall was generally good. The mall has adequate parking facilities, which makes it convenient for visitors. The ambience and overall environment are pleasant, making it a nice place to spend some time.
However, I found that most of the products and services available inside the mall are quite expensive. Because of the high prices, shopping may not be affordable for everyone. Even the movie tickets at the theatre seem to be priced on the higher side.
I would appreciate it if the management could consider offering more affordable pricing, discounts, or promotions. This would make the mall more accessible and enjoyable for a wider range of customers. Overall, it is a good place to visit, but more budget-friendly options would greatly improve the experience.Read More

I visited Fun Republic Mall in Coimbatore. Compared to other malls in the city, Fun Mall is smaller and has fewer shops. The shopping options are limited, and many branded stores that people usually expect in a mall are not available there.
One thing we noticed is that several shop spaces were closed or vacant. Because of that, the mall feels less lively and not as crowded as bigger malls like Prozone or Brookfields. If you’re going there mainly for shopping, you might feel disappointed due to the limited collections. However, if you just want to spend some time, walk around, or hang out casually, you can still visit. It’s a calm place, and since the crowd is less, you can move around freely without rush. Some people prefer it for that reason.
There is a theatre inside the mall, which is one of the main attractions. Many visitors come mainly to watch movies rather than for shopping. The theatre experience is decent, and it keeps the mall active to some extent.
Food options are available, but again, the variety is limited compared to bigger malls. You can find basic snacks and fast food, but not a very large food court experience.
Cleanliness and maintenance are okay, and parking facilities are manageable. But overall, the mall feels like it has lost some of its popularity over time because of fewer functioning shops. In my opinion, Fun Mall is not the best choice if you’re planning for shopping or exploring many brands. But if you just want to spend time, watch a movie, or have a quiet outing, then you can consider visiting once.Read More

Fun Mall is located in Peelamedu and is easy to reach. The main attraction of the mall is the theatre, which draws most of the crowd. Shopping options are quite limited, with only a few stores available, so it may not be the best choice for people looking for a wide variety of brands.
The food court has limited options but is fine for a quick snack or casual meal. The mall is generally clean and not overly crowded, which makes it comfortable to spend some time. Parking is available, though it can get congested during peak hours.
Overall, Fun Mall is suitable for watching movies and a short outing, but not ideal for a complete shopping or entertainment experience.Read More

Fun Republic Mall, Coimbatore
Fun Republic Mall is one of the earliest malls established in Coimbatore and is located on Avinashi Road, right next to PSG College in Peelamedu. Because of this prime location, the mall has always attracted a steady crowd of college students, nearby residents, and moviegoers.
Over the years, with the arrival of newer and larger malls in the city, Fun Mall has gradually shifted from being a major shopping destination to a more casual hangout and movie-focused mall.
The mall has multiple floors connected by escalators and elevators, and the interiors look decent in parts.
The mall does not feel overcrowded, which some people may appreciate, but at the same time, the lack of footfall and active stores reduces the overall energy of the place.
Shopping Experience
Shopping options at Fun Republic Mall are limited but functional. If you are looking for basic clothing and lifestyle shopping, the mall still has stores like Max, Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Easy Buy, and a few accessory and cosmetic outlets. The only premium brand store available here is Aptronix (Apple reseller).
There is no wide variety of brands, and window shopping options are quite limited. Many floors have empty spaces, This mall is not ideal for people who enjoy exploring multiple brands or spending long hours shopping. Most visitors come here only if they already know which store they want to visit.
Food Court and Dining Options
The food court is located on the top floor and offers basic fast-food options. Popular outlets include KFC, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Barbeque Nation, and a few snack and ice-cream stalls. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available, but the variety especially South Indian food is limited.
One important thing to note is that the food court follows a prepaid card system. You need to purchase a card for around ₹100 (refundable), which is valid for one year, and use it to make payments inside the food court. This system can feel inconvenient for first-time visitors or those coming for a quick bite.
The seating area is decent, but additional seating, especially for elderly visitors would be helpful.
Cinema Experience (Major Attraction)
Cinepolis Multiplex is the strongest reason why Fun Republic Mall still attracts visitors. The theatre is well maintained, has multiple screens, and offers good sound and picture quality. Many people visit the mall mainly to watch the latest movies and then leave.
few visitors have complained about seat comfort or parking issues during movie hours.
The crowd at Fun Republic Mall mainly consists of college students due to its location next to PSG College.
Washrooms are available on multiple floors, but hygiene needs improvement—issues like missing tissues, hand dryers, and overall cleanliness are commonly noticed. General maintenance is average, with some renovated areas and others feeling neglected.
Parking is available at the side and rear of the mall. While space is usually sufficient, weekends and movie rush hours can be chaotic. Parking is manually managed (not FASTag-based). Charges are ₹40 for the first 3 hours and ₹10 per additional hour, and exits can be slow during peak times.
The mall is easily accessible via Avinashi Road. Town buses stop near PSG College, and autos and cab services are readily available. Reaching by private vehicle is simple, though parking crowds increase on weekends.
Compared to Brookefields Mall, Fun Republic is much smaller with fewer brands, food options, and overall activity. Prozone Mall also offers a better experience in terms of size, variety, and modern atmosphere.
Overall, Fun Republic Mall is best suited for Cinepolis movies, quick shopping, or fast food. For a full shopping or leisure experience, Brookefields or Prozone are better choices. I would revisit mainly for movies or specific stores unless improvements are made in maintenance and store availability.Read More

Fun Mall is one of my go-to hangout spots in the city. I’ve visited several times and really like the calm vibe – it’s less crowded compared to other malls, which makes it perfect for spending relaxed time with friends.
It has plenty of parking, which is a big advantage. While there aren’t too many shops or a large food court, the place still feels comfortable and not chaotic.
The theatre here is good – watched Tere Ishk Mein and SIRAI with my friends and had a nice movie experience. We usually grab food at KFC, and the photo booth is a fun spot to capture memories 📸
Overall, it’s ideal for people who prefer a peaceful mall experience over heavy crowds. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆Read More
