Sante (ಸಂತೆ) is the old Bengaluru word for a weekly market, where people came to buy, sell, haggle and catch up. Vidyarthi Sante brings that idea back with a new set of sellers. More than 100 student founders from Mesa School of Business are setting up 36 brands under one roof. Each brand was built from scratch as part of their programme at Mesa, and the founders worked out the product, the pricing and the pitch themselves. Now they’ll be at their stalls to sell to you in person. Expect food, clothing and much more. Every stall also has its own game, so you can play your way through the market as you shop.
