An art squat is a name used to describe the action of artists to occupy (or squat in) an abandoned building, thereby creating studio space to create art.

Pesh hai The Big Squat! An effort spanning 8 weeks (yes!), starring 32 handpicked artists from the Indian Independent Circuit. The exciting format features standup comedy, films, spoken word poetry, food and of course - music!

Music at Week #2 of The Big Squat will feature Chennai garage rock act Skrat, with solid support from Baroda supergroup The Malakar Experience.

Comedy at Week #2 will be at the helm of Anirban Dasgupta, engineer turned corporate salesman turned funnyman from Kolkata, and prankster-at-heart Urooj Ashfaq who grabbed eyeballs with her Better Life Foundation stint and consequent featuring in AIB videos.
