What Happens in the Bedroom (Doesn’t Stay There) is a warm, witty look at relationships, marriage, intimacy and the many ways we understand love.
Set across these houses in contemporary Bombay, the play follows couples whose private lives slowly begin to overlap, bringing misunderstandings, desires, frustrations and unexpected moments of tenderness into the open.
But beneath the comedy lies a simple question: What is love, really?
The play refuses to judge. It explores the idea that everyone experiences and understands love differently and asks: if we are unhappy in love, can we still call it love?
