Kaas Plateau is rich in its Bio-diversity. Many species are observed on plateau are new to the Botanical Science. Most of the endemic, endangered plants are found on Plateau. More than 850 species of flowering plants are reported on the plateau.

624 species have entered in the Red Data Book. Out of these 624 species, 39 are found only in Kaas Region. Itinerary

6:00 am – Pick-up from Blue Nile

6:30 am – Depart to Kaas via katraj

9:00 – 12:00 pm – Guided by naturalists visit various sites of flowering species (Walk tour for about 3-4 km, breakfast, tea, packaged drinking water will be provided during the session)

1:30 pm– Lunch at Kaas

3:00 pm – Leave for Pune (tea break on the way at a secret waterfall location)

8:00 pm – Reach Pune

Trip includes:

• Travel and toll: Pick up and drop off at Blue Nile.

• Meals covered on the trip: Breakfast, lunch and evening tea and snacks.

• Mineral water for drinking throughout the trip. • Tour guides and camp leaders all along the trip. • Medical assistance if required.
