In this workshop, you will be taught to paint flowers on a tray, using oil paints and acrylics. This folk art is a handcraft of painting on metal trays coated with few layers of priming and oil varnish, usually black. Painting is done with firm strokes, with a soft brush. You will be taught basics of using the brush, colour mixing, layering, and more. You will be taken through warm-up exercises to start with, before getting into the painting of flowers on the tray.

We will provide all the art materials (tray, oil paints, brushes, solvents, etc.).

You don’t need to have any previous experience, and you should be able to complete your masterpiece that can be used as a decorative piece of art work or as a gift.

Registration is a must before the event, so that we can plan for the needed materials. Limited seats!
