Gonno

Gonno, a DJ & producer who's widely considered a statesman of the Japanese House/Techno scene - a scene he passionalty represents at home and abroad. He has released numerous productions on esteemed labels all over the globe including International Feel, Beats In Space and Ostgut-Ton. His second album, 2015's ‘Remember The Life Is Beautiful’ on Endless Flight, was heavily featured in international medi and reached outlets such as Pitchfork and Resident Advisor. The album was ranked as one of the best releases of the year by 'Music Magazine', Japan. He performs live with drummer/percussionist Kazuhiko Masumura under the collective name of Gonno x Masumura. Their 2018 album ‘In Circles’ is an experimental live collaboration of acidic and melodic synthesizers fused with Afro-beat inspired drumming. Gonno's narrative DJing style is highly regarded all over the world. In recent years he has been increasingly playing more festivals and clubs in the US and Asia in addition to his European touring. Events of note include Rainbow Disco Club (in Japan, Holland, Vietnam & Korea), Dekmantel Selectors Festival & Berhgain's 20th year anniversary party.
