IndieFlow will be conducting flow and movement workshops ranging from Poi, Hula Hoop, Dapostar and Capoeira! 

What is Flow Arts?

Flow Arts is usually described as a mix of dance, circus and martial arts. It is a meditative and relaxing practice, while simultaneously being challenging.

What to expect:

This is a one day event, with workshops for Poi, Hula Hoop, Dapostar and Capoeira. All the workshops are beginner friendly, with no age limit. 

Poi and Hoop are open to all levels - i.e. these are being conducted at the intermediate level as well.

About us:

IndieFlow was founded by Yacobeh (Rohan Jacob) & Sarena (Sarena Beriwala) in 2016. Both are fire performers and versatile flow artists. Between the two of them, they teach and perform different props such as poi, hula hoop, juggling, dapo star, fans and more! IndieFlow was created with the intention of spreading the Flow Arts in India. All workshops, jams, events and even the props are personally curated and made by the founders. 

Coming from corporate backgrounds themselves, namely engineering and law, both Yacobeh and Sarena believe in movement and activities outside the workspace. Flow Arts helps tremendously in enhancing your daily routine - it is a form of play that is very enriching for the body, mind and soul.
