About the Event

Palestinian playwright Dalia Taha's utterly distinct slices of Palestinian life are at times unsettling, heartbreaking, and humorous - as parents, lovers, sisters and friends cope with a decades-long occupation. These exquisite short plays explore how the most intimate of relationships are infiltrated by colonization and displacement.

Directed by Gurleen Judge

Featuring Aarti Aney, Asmit Pathare, Devika Shahani, Neil Bhoopalam

Entry free | All are welcome

This is the second in the Hear, Here (Vol. 2) series of readings by The Drama Library at Harkat Studios.

About Hear, Here! (Volume 2)

A play truly comes to life when it is read and heard, out loud. To this end, The Drama Library returned to Arghya Lahiri and Phalguni Vittal Rao to curate a second volume of scripts we want to hear and playwrights whose work we want to engage with more.

The other plays being read in this volume are:

Scorched (English) by Wajdi Mouawad on January 22

Tughlaq (Hindustani) by Girish Karnad, translation by BV Karanth on February 19

Mosquitoes (English) by Lucy Kirkwood on March 4
