Levitate is a Mumbai/Bangalore - based agency. We curate music and create experiences that enable people to leave their life's stresses behind and embark on eclectic sonic sojourns with a spectrum of producers, DJs & selectors - both homegrown & international acts.

ARTIST BIO: 

ARTHI (Rinse FM/Keep Hush) (UK)

Arthi is a multi-genre DJ who fuses sounds from London and across the world, from Dancehall, Reggaeton and Afrobeats to UK Funky, Garage and Bass. Expect to hear high-energy blends of your favourite artists fused with underground club sounds and old school throwbacks. 

Arthi has sold-out headline shows across Europe and joined forces with party collectives in France, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. This year, she brought her sound to major events in the UK's summer calendar including Shangri-La at Glastonbury Festival, Four Tet's All-Dayer at Finsbury Park and a pop-up rave in east London hosted by Fred Again, featuring Kenny Beats and Jyoty. She has toured the country DJing for Katy B and performed for party collectives including Moonshine, Keep Hush, Pxssy Palace, DialledIn, Boko Boko and Movimientos.

Heart, emotion, and passion instead of pure functionality – these are Santana Maria’s DJ characteristics in a nutshell.

Always inclined toward books and music as a kid, Santana was immersed in an eclectic array of genres, from country music to old-school hip hop. With an ever-evolving interest and taste in music, it was only a matter of time before she opened Pandora's box of electronic music. Extensively exploring the world from classic house and techno to the raucous jungle and drum n’ bass, the rabbit hole of different soundscapes made one thing crystal clear: Music was her calling.

Having started a career as a DJ in 2019, electrifying gig after gig, her big break came in 2022. A new year’s set for a crowd of 3000+ people; guiding them on the dance floor, Santana carried the crowd through an experience of ecstasy, social intimacy, and celebration that, given the suffocating and isolating Lockdown, was a long time coming. For her, it was a dream come true.

Santana is constantly on the move, constantly evolving. Bringing an intuitive style of music production; rather than adhere to pre-fixed notions or blueprints, she plays it by ear, composing with a free-flowing flair. With a love for presenting unique sounds for the crowd, she hopes to never confine her sound to a particular type. Because, for Santana, music is more than its nuts and bolts, it is about making a moment, about creating a feeling. Or, as she herself states, “the ability to use sounds to make people feel euphoric is what it’s all about”.

Through selections spanning house, UKG, breakbeats & bass music, Aishwarya curates a fertile interplay of steadying rage and holy release. Her dance floor is an arena of rediscovered camaraderie, friendship & a sense of belonging: where you are is never where you find yourself waking up.
