Fruzu is an eclectic four-piece band from Delhi creating positive and upbeat music that is sure to inspire you.
Pragnya’s intricate songwriting, coupled with Shubhanshu and Danik’s groovy and tight guitar playing and Manoj’s technically sound drumming have been packing quite a punch on stages across India for the last 3 years. The band comprises of Shubhanshu Singh on lead guitars, Pragnya Wakhlu on vocals and rhythm guitar , Manoj Mavely on Drums and Danik Ghosh on the bass. Fruzu made their debut TV appearance on the prestigious Music Mojo Season 4 on Kappa TV in Jan 2016, and was one of the few Delhi bands that have been featured on the show. Apart from playing originals, Fruzu also covers funk, rock & alternative covers by artists such as RHCP, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power and others.
The band has played at many prestigious music festivals across India including the YouforUttarakhand concert at Bluefrog,Delhi in association with MTV ACT, the Celeste Music Festival, Mussourie, The New Delhi Palate Festival, Play for a Cause Festival & at several pubs and venues across India. Recently, the band played to a sold out show in Kochi for the vice-president of India. Fruzu was also the band of choice for the launch of Triumph Motorcycles in Jaipur.
