Loy Mendonsa
Loy Mendonsa is an acclaimed Indian music composer and a member of the iconic trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. Before stepping into composition, he worked as a pianist for celebrated composers like A. R. Rahman and Nadeem–Shravan. He began his independent career by creating the signature tune for The World This Week on Doordarshan. Alongside Shankar Mahadevan and Ehsaan Noorani, he went on to deliver some of Indian cinema’s most memorable tracks, including “Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe” (2001), “Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe” (2003), “Meri Duniya Tu Hi Re” (2007), “Uff Teri Adaa” (2010), and “Maston Ka Jhund” (2013). His notable film contributions also include Baar Baar Dekho, Rock On 2, and Mirzya (2016), as well as Halkaa (2018).
