Marty Friedman
Marty Friedman is an American guitar virtuoso celebrated for his highly technical and melodically exotic playing style. He first gained international fame as the lead guitarist of the thrash metal band Megadeth from 1990 to 2000, playing a crucial role in their most commercially successful and critically acclaimed albums, including Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction.
Before Megadeth, he was a prominent figure in the neoclassical metal scene as half of the duo Cacophony, alongside Jason Becker.
