Method acting, known as the Method, is a range of rehearsal techniques, as formulated by a number of different theatre practitioners, that seeks to encourage sincere and expressive performances through identifying with, understanding, and experiencing a character's inner motivation and emotions.

ABOUT THE MUSIC TEACHER: ALAN REGO

Alan comes from a family of defence officers and teachers, and has been on stage from the age of 3...turned professional singer at 16, taught guitar, geography and history from the age of 23. Alan plays about 20 instruments, writes and directs plays with casts of 800+, 8 albums recorded, camp counselor in New York, worship leader and Sunday School teacher, performs for private and corporate parties, MCs weddings and family picnics, founder of Yellow Submarine Childrens Clubs. Hobbies are joinery and winemaking.
