R. Sarathkumar is an actor, journalist, politician and former body builder. He served as the president of the South Indian Film Artistes' Association and rose to fame with negative roles in films. Over time, he established himself as a successful actor and earned the title of Supreme Star in Tamil cinema. Winner of several awards, Sarathkumar’s best works have been in films like Meera, Sivantha Malar, Chennaiyil Oru Naal, Naa Peru Surya and Bharat Ane Nenu.
