Liam Neeson is an Irish actor known for his accurate portrayal of intense characters. His films like Schindler’s List and Taken have won critical acclaim and nominations for awards like BAFTA, the Oscar and the Golden Globe. Neeson made his professional acting debut with a play called "The Risen People" during his time at the Belfast Lyric Players' Theater. Before entering mainstream cinema, Neeson moved to Dublin's Abbey Theater where he performed the classics. He has also appeared in several British TV series and was awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 1999 Queen's New Year's Honours List for his services to drama.
