Amruta Khanvilkar is a film and television actor, who appears in Hindi and Marathi movies. She began her acting career with television. She bagged her first marathi movie titled Golmaal in 2006. Amrutha made her Bollywood debut with the movie Mumbai Salsa (2006). Her famous movies include Hattrick, Contract, Phoonk, Gaiir, Phoonk 2, Phillum City, Arjun, Zhakaas and Dhoosar. Amruta is also the winner of the seventh season of popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 7 with her husband Himmanshoo A. Malhotra.

Mostly starring as the primary antagonist in the series, he has worked with major Bollywood actors like Amir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan in blockbusters like Lagaan and Veer Zaara. Mishra has remained associated with theater and made his Bollywood debut with the 1993 film Bedardi starring Ajay Devgn, Urmila Matondkar and Naseeruddin Shah.
