About the Event

Join renowned Turkish singer and scholar Latif Bolat and accomplished guitarist Deepak Castelino for an evening of music and poetry. Rooted in the works of Rumi, Yunus Emre, Hacı Bektaş, and other Sufi poets, this musical program explores the traditions of Anatolia - a land where cultures have intertwined for thousands of years.

Anatolia, a crossroads of civilizations along the ancient Silk Road, has long been a meeting place of diverse cultures - Greek, Armenian, Arab, Kurdish, Turkish, and more. This unique fusion has given rise to a deeply moving musical heritage - one that speaks to love and unity. Latif and Deepak's collaboration embodies the very essence of Anatolia - where influences merge, evolve, and find new expressions.

The show has a 15-minute intermission in between.
