About the Event
About the show:
Noor-e-Ishq roughly translates to Light of Love. Because, is there a place without love? Is there a place without light? This is a poetry and storytelling show curated by Mahad Productions. Watch Aaliyah, Amrin Khalil, Ashiq Hussain, Faazila Jabeen, Fahima Niaz, and Maryam Hameed take the stage with stories and poems from their heart. The show will be hosted by storyteller/comedian Gurumurthy.
About Mahad Productions:
Mahad Productions is a performing arts production house based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The name is inspired by Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar's Mahad Satyagraha, and believes that there should be no socio-economic barrier between artists and the stage. Founded in May 2021, Mahad Productions has organised various open mics, ticketed curated shows, art festivals, and workshops.

- The show begins at 4pm sharp. We mean it. Gates open at 3:50pm, so be there on time.
- The venue has limited parking facility for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Kindly prefer public transport as much as possible. (The venue is accessible by MTC Bus, and is less than 2km from Teynampet Metro, and Thirumayilai MRTS Station)
